Helix 12 si with chirp

Do you get the full chirp capabilities when using the "xhs 9 9dhsi 180t" transducer that comes with the unit? Or do you have to buy an additional "chirp" transducer"?

Humminbird does not have a CHIRP transducer.

The Helix 12 CHIRP's the standard transducer.

The ONIX recently got a software update to CHIRP the standard transducer.

The only other way to have CHIRP with a Humminbird ONIX or ION is with a SM3000 accessory and third party CHIRP transducer.

Wayne,

I see that you post on a couple of forums and that you always have good info for folks, again I want to thank you for that. I just recently purchased Helix 12(great graph) and I think I saw a post from you on one of the forums and you said that that the pixel count for graphs referred to a count for 1 square inch? Does that mean that Helix 12 has a sharper picture than a Helix 10?

Yes, the Helix 12 display has about 3,000 more pixels per square inch than the Helix 10.
